A Counter-Drone Target You Can Actually Shoot — Again and Again

Kill Drozer is a reusable, instrumented aerial target built to be engaged with live counter-UAS munitions. Sacrificial armor panels and an armored core keep it flying while software scores every hit — so one airframe trains an entire counter-drone program.

What It Is

Counter-UAS operators are expected to detect, track, and defeat small drones — yet the targets they train against are destroyed on the first hit, driving up cost and leaving no objective record of the shot. Kill Drozer fixes that. Field-replaceable shield panels over a skeletonized frame protect an armored core holding the battery, flight controller, and radio. Embedded sensors register every impact, a configurable software damage model decides what counts as a kill, and the result reaches the instructor in real time. Swap a panel, and fly again.

Key Capabilities

  • • Reusable, not single-use — many scored engagements in one session
  • • Objective, time-stamped scoring for honest after-action review
  • • Software-configurable lethality: the same airframe challenges a novice or an expert with one setting change
  • • Field-swap damaged panels in under a minute, no tools
  • • Built for the 5.56 multi-projectile anti-drone round, with shotgun and non-kinetic (laser/RF) training modes
