S&L Technologies LLC is a U.S. engineering company building low-cost, field-ready systems for distributed operations on the water, in the air, and on the ground. We design for one outcome: capability a customer can deploy anywhere, operate, and repair without contractor support — and afford in numbers.
What We Build
Our work spans autonomous maritime platforms, counter-unmanned-aircraft systems, and propulsion — from the WaterStrider attritable USV to close-in counter-drone munitions and heavy-fuel propulsion for small unmanned systems. Different domains, one philosophy: treat cost as a primary requirement, keep the architecture open, and put the design in the customer’s hands.
How We Work
Every S&L system is engineered to be produced across a broad domestic industrial base, repaired in the field with hand tools, and owned outright by the customer — complete technical data package and source code, no vendor lock. Cost is designed in from the first decision, not discounted at the end. That is what makes our platforms genuinely attritable rather than merely unmanned.
